The general disdain and supercilious attitude of the Conservative Party to Scotland has over the years been down right disgraceful - the Labour Party has been little better than taking them for granted as political lobby fodder in parliament. The Poll Tax introduced by Mrs Thatcher as a 'social experiment' that backfired in a spectacular manner on her. There was blood on the Downing Street carpet, and she never regain her supremacy and the writing was on the wall for her humiliating exit. Cameron et al have not learnt a thing from this debacle and cause celebre. When will these Bullingdon school boys learn that you cannot tread on people on the way up, otherwise they will trample on you on your way down! So as we go into the last lap of the referendum debate the old biblical adage is forever true 'what you sow so shall you reap' Mr Cameron, Nick Clegg and Ed Miliband please note.
