Privacy and the internet.

Its now 25 years ago the the internet became the world wide web. Can you imagine life without it? I cannot so we all life within its wedding embrace - for better or worse, for richer or poorer, till death do us part. Nevertheless we give up our privacy to get what we want from its benefits. We now know from Edward Snoden that governments are keeping an eye on us all and here with GCHQ in Gloucestershire. The biggest fear apart from international terrorism is international crime, especially with the advent of Bit coins. This is a currency invented in America (where else) by Peter Todd that is passed through a server called a Blockchain. This is what we used to call 'money or cash'. With cash the receiver is always anonymous unless you disclose who or whom you have given it to. This has created what has been called the dark web of criminality where Silk Road started selling addictive drugs internationally. The founder was a chap in the US who called himself Dred Pirate Roberts has been arrested recently for this troubles, but the site has popped up again under new management. However the tech-nerds from the FBI and GCHQ with the help of one of the leading brains of inscription in the US Steve Crocker and his company iCann came to the rescue like the cavalry. There is one way around this conundrum namely by downloading the software from the site known as www.torproject.org . Which is an highly sophisticated software that uses complex algorithms that cannot be busted by any system at present. So for the time being your privacy is ensured. Sir Tim Berners-Lee the English chap who is the godfather and founder of the WorldWideWeb 25 years ago is pleased by this new development.
