Cameron is hemorrhaging support.

Poor old Cameron he's like the 'Grand old Duke of York' who had ten thousand men etc. Another has left the sinking ship to UKip on the eve of the Conservative Party conference. Trying to lift the spirits after this debacle will not be easy. It was a close run thing on the referendum and without Gordon Brown, Cameron may now be 'thrown under the London bus'. The UKip tanks are now on the Conservatives lawn and will not be leaving any time soon. What can Cameron do? He is squeezed by Miliband and the right wing of his party that are on many issues closer to UKip. The European question is the elephant in the room and is not going anywhere. He has promised if re-elected a referendum on our membership of the EU, but his re-election is fading very fast. The demographics are also against him, with boundary changes the balance of power is with Ed. The internecine civil war that of  Europe is tearing the Conservatives apart. A divided party never wins elections. So as long as Ed doesn't do anything stupid he will win in May 2015. We can right the Lib/Dems and Clegg off as a 'busted flush' they are out of the running. There's a rump support of about 10% who will always vote for them, but the rational ones like me are off for good.
