If your fortunate enough to have 'blue' eyes' the Darwin theory holds true - that it is generally believed that you are more 'sexually desirable and intelligent' - of course as we all know 'beauty is in the eyes of the beholder'. Nevertheless there is a distribution of 'blue eyes' across the country. Ranging from some 49% are in the North west Scotland to as low as 35% sothwest England. Over evolutionary time that started it is thought about 10,000 years ago a 'mutation in a gene' took place in our eyes that started off their long journey to us today. If more people seek our more people with those 'sparkling blue eyes' then more will be produced. We see that in the stars of today whether Daniel Craig (007) or old blue eyes himself Frank Sinatra. In the temples across the globe many 'deities are depicted with blue eyes'. Blue is like the display off the cocky peacocks tail - showing off his male potential for a mate - the better the display the more ancestors as so on. Its the 'birds and the bees' doing what comes naturally in nature and we are just catching up with them.
All this data has comes from the Blue Eyes Research Project - yes there is one - where on average there are now 48% of the British population with that colour, 30% green and 20% brown. The Scottish DNA project carried out this ground breaking research. So what if they go independent in September will that evolutionary process be halted or will we continue as before to 'inter-marry'? I hope we do for selfish reasons my children are a quarter Scottish a quarter Irish and quarter Welsh and the rest English. So far the Kings and Queens of a Untied Kingdom.
