HRH Boy George.

On Tuesday it was the first birthday of - boy George. The party for his chums was not surprisingly a 'pucker' affair - no lads from the East End on this occasion. No doubt plenty of fine bubbly was poured for his parents Catherine and William plus their family, friends and the neighbours. They are of course the Russian Embassy on Kensington Palace Gardens. I should as they say declare an interest, my mother worked at the famous grandiloquent building before the last war as it was the home of her employer - not then the Russian Embassy. I wonder if Mr Putin sent a card or bought a nice friendly cuddly bear for boy George? I guess at the moment he has other things on his mind - like the downing of MH17 by those 'pesky bandits and thugs' causing him more undeserved problems. Mr Puntin has complained in his diary that has just been leaked - 'that sometime your closest and best criminal mates put you in a very difficult intentional fix but that's as we say here in Moscow - politics and the Mafia for you. However we are still eating the best caviar and drinking the very finest champagne so life's not all that bad for us in the Kremlin bunker' He went to expand his thoughts that 'he understood Mr Cameron had been slagging him off again in the House of Common - do I diverse all that nonsense from a good friend? Well  he was a friend, but Angela Merkel my German mate and Mr Hollande of France (you can always rely on the French to give me maximum support) are still my closest confidants and friends - so as we say her in the Kremlin - up yours Mr Cameron'!
I do hope boy George had a Happy Birthday and his parents, family and friends enjoyed the summer sunshine in Kensington Palace - he will hopefully have less Russian influenced ones in the future.
