You couldn't make it up.

There seems to be no end to the - insatiable thirst for Nazi memorabilia. What is it about that terrible period in German history - that makes them seemingly desirable? This is apparently a multi-million pound business. Many of the objects turning up on eBay. The centre of the trade is Russia where many hundreds of thousands of Germans soldiers were killed as they retreated in the face of the Red Army in 1942. However the biggest jamboree for those interested in this particular hobby of collecting Nazi memorabilia is the - War and Peace - military fair held annually at the Hop Farm, Paddock Wood in Kent. Many claim that it not only neo-Nazis that are interested, but military historians. The problem for historians is that - in future if this trade continues in the way it has over recent years, many of the most important objects will have been taken and sold to the highest bidder. The graves are being desecrated, and its also creating distress for the families of the fallen German soldiers. You couldn't make it up!
