I'm just back from London town, where the temperature was a sticky and very hot 32c. It's almost impossible to enjoy this level of heat. In The New York Times today - there is a report - about how the Mediterranean is collectively suffering. Its a growing crisis - about water management and how it should distributed? Sicily in particular is in a bad way - as water is being diverted for tourist attractions and hotels. However the farming community are not happy as their animals and crops aren't getting sufficient water. There are fears this could lead to violence and civil disobedience. This is just the beginning of what are going to be - the water wars.
