The Union is done and dusted.

I agree with Matthew Paris in The Times today the Union is finished. Since the referendum in September the long marriage from 1707 is now done and dusted. We have for too long put up with their bellicosity and rudeness regarding the English. They have a very large chip on their collective shoulders and we should let them go off into the Scottish mist. Why have we been so long suffering? Its like having a wife who is always threatening to go off with so other chap. Let her go and jolly good riddance, perhaps we can now get a good nights sleep. She has kept us awake over the years with her peevishness and general crotchetiness. There is almost no occasion when she is not bleating about how bad life is under the English yoke. So lets celebrate - for in May she will vote for independence in all but name by voting SNP. Good luck and bon voyage.
In my opinion this is the beginning of the end of the UK. Ireland will be re-united in 2022 the 100th anniversary of the independence conflict, and then Wales will seek independence. England will go back to its pre-Saxon era. We live in interesting times.
