A $300 billion per year business.

Any business with a turn over each year and rising of some $300 billion is no small enterprise. This is the annual sum spent on a variety of drugs including - heroin and cocaine. The traffic from Mexico to the US has been doing good business of late. The death of many Mexican people have caused the streets to be covered in blood as the competition between various drug gangs seeking to monopolise the trade. It comes then as a big surprise that the US Government is actually in league with these cartels. The FBI are in bed with theses criminals. The rationale is they have as a consequence inside information on the threat to US national security. So the FBI are actually in league with these bandits. There is a pretense that there is a 'war on drugs' but the opposite is the case. Its all a bloody charade. How depressing to know that your government is cahoots with criminals. All this was spelt out is an engrossing programme on BBC 2 last night in Secrets of Mexico's Drug War.
