Do you recall that day in May 2010 in the rose garden of number ten Downing Street when the two newly weds said such - lovey dovey things to each other and to the national press and media? All that has been washed away by some many years of tears and recrimination. The terrible late night rows over the welfare of the kids and their schooling. Now one of those bolshy children Danny Alexander says that his boss boy George in bent apon "the wilful destruction of public services". Well it doesn't get much more bitter than that!
As with so many shot gun weddings 'marry in haste, repent in leisure' - just so with this arranged marriage. What is to become of the two of them for the next few months? Will they sleep is separates bedrooms, eat at different times of the day, not share the car to work? We all new back then that it would end in tears, and so it has. I cant wait for May and the election to arrive and we can see the back of these two old worn out dilapidated scurrilous old political lovers walk into the sunset and go their separate ways.
