World Economic Forum (WEF).

A report published today by the international organisation the WEF states quite categorically that the two major scourges in our so called prosperous age are youth unemployment and social inequality - in relative and in absolute terms. The distribution of wealth that has accrued to the wealthiest has now accelerated to such an extent that its pornographic. Any reasonable rational and compassionate person would realise that this just cannot continue when the life chances for so many are reduced to bare subsistence living. This is particularly acute in parts of South America like Honduras where many of the kids seek a better life from the ravages of gang crime and try to get into the US - often without luck - to be deported to their atrocious lives. This group makes up 70% of the kids seeking a better life in the US. Tragically even if successful they start at the very bottom of the food chain and getting out of absolute poverty will take many generations. Education is the only answer but many of these countries just don't have the infrastructure or will to do what is necessary in these poverty stricken countries - where crime and corruption is endemic. There is only one chance of being young miss that and its very hard to get a better life.
