Emily Thornberry has gone - was she pushed or did she jump?

The Rochester and Strood by-election was a good victory for UKip. The Labour Party did badly coming third, the Lib/Dems as forecast were massacred with a humiliating 349 votes. Nevertheless our dear leader Ed was not helped by one of his closest lieutenants Emily Thornberry - who Tweeted an idiotic photo of a white van man who had draped two St George's flags out of his bedroom widow with the Tag - Image of Rochester. Its an indication of just how out of touch she and the Ed Miliband elite now are. None of them have done a proper job going from Oxbridge straight into politics. Thornberry represents the Islington South constituency where I used to live. Its a prosperous area of London, but with pockets of serious deprivation, like all inner London boroughs. She will forever regret this act of blind stupidity for years to come. Her political career is now dead.
