How disrespectful to the Queen by Cameron reporting to Michael Bloomberg a conversation with her regarding the results of last weeks referendum in Scotland. Its just like a infantile adolescent boasting that he had somehow got by subterfuge the autograph of a famous pop star and how clever he was. This infantile behaviour from the prime minister of the UK is beyond the pale of protocol. In times past this would have been treasonable and off with his 'silly head'.
His abject apology is of little avail! Had this been Ed Miliband saying this - what do you think the right wing media would have said? However because Cameron is from the same stable and Bullingdon Club there is no or muted response. I would love to be a fly on the wall next week when they again meet up for his regular weekly audience with the Queen. What can he say that will remove this indelible black spot? As Shakespeare says tellingly in Macbeth "What is done cannot be undone".
