Is Scottish Independence dead?

The meeting in Edinburgh on Sunday between Keir Starmer, and John Swinney, the first minister of Scotland was an - attempt to restore the fractured relationship. It's had in recent years many problems, not least around the contentious issue of Scottish Independence. With the loss of so many seats in the general election, the SNP are in a sorry state. The probability of another referendum - is now off the political agenda for at least 10 years or more. Nevertheless there are other pressing problems to address, not least the - state of the NHS, education, North Sea oil exploration and investment. It's always better to have a good relationship with your immediate neighbour. Time for a reset. Now for Northern Ireland and Wales.
