Seeing a dentist.

There was an expression, used some time ago - as rare as hens teeth. Well that is increasingly the case when it comes to finding a NHS dentist. Research published today by the think tank Onward - discovered serious discrepancy between one county and another. According to them it's no fun living in Kent - if you want good dental care. The best place to live is Lincolnshire. Some parts of the country are becoming NHS dental deserts. We know that good oral health is necessary for good general health. So why is the government failing to properly invest in this branch of the health service? It's clearly myopic as other health problems go undetected and thereby lead to potentially more acute issues later on. There is no problem for our billionaire prime minister Rishi Sunak, getting to see a dentist - another reason to kick him out of Downing Street.
