What do you give the Queen for lunch?

Only the third time the Queen went for lunch at the country - grace and favour retreat Chequers - of the Prime Minister David Cameron in rural Buckinghamshire. The former PM's were Edward Heath and Sir John Major. In 1921 Chequers was gifted to the nation for the use of prime ministers'. On the menu was Scottish smoked salmon, English lamb and bread and butter pudding. Bread and butter pudding I hear you exclaim! However its good 'public school' grub and both she and Cameron will be familiar with it. Its the ultimate comfort food. What would the French president serve her majesty?
Another sign of the decline of Paris as the hub of the fashion world is the fact that the third richest man in France Francois-Henri Pinault has decided that London is more chic and cosmopolitan. He is the chief executive of the luxury goods group Kering. He joins another 300,000 other French citizens making west London, near the French embassy their home. London can now boast being the sixth largest French city. His wife is the beautiful Mexican actor Salma Hayek. They are currently desperately looking for a good school in the capital for their young daughter.
